Breakfast Pizza Recipe
This is my recipe for an easy to make yummy
breakfast pizza.
Ingredients:

1/2 pound turkey sausage, cooked and
crumbled

2 packages of reduced fat crescent
rolls

1/2 bell pepper, sliced

6 fresh mushrooms sliced

1 cup salsa
-
6 eggs
-
garlic powder
-
1 cup shredded fat-free cheddar
cheese
Preparation Instructions:
Cook sausage and set aside. Press crescent rolls
firmly onto a cookie sheet, including sides. Spread the following
ingredients evenly over crescent rolls, creating layers: cooked
sausage, bell pepper, mushrooms, and salsa. Next scramble eggs in a
bowl and pour evenly over layers of vegetables. Bake at 350 ° for
15 minutes or until egg is done. Remove from oven and sprinkle
lightly with garlic powder and top with cheese. Bake an
addition 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Slice and serve.
Serving Suggestion:
Serve as a stand along meal.
Other Notes:
You can season to taste with salt
and pepper. I am avoiding salt in my diet as much as possible,
so I omitted salt. I made a fresh salsa and used it in this recipe.
For the salsa I chopped two jalapeno peppers, four tomatoes, an
onion, 1/2 stick celery, and some cilantro and mixed it all
together. This is more salsa than you need for this recipe. I
had used most of it for another recipe. Pace Picante Sauce works
well, too.
